Can't say that I disagree, but it's all driven by US. We have no interest in hearing news and opinions that are counter to our believes, we only say we do because it's intellectually the right answer. We convince ourselves that bias news is fair as long as it reinforces our beliefs

The old adage, "Follow the money" works in this case as well. Who owns the corporations? What are their subsidiaries, portfolio's? What are their political beliefs? Who do they donate campaign money too? How do they vote? Who are they friends with? And on and on...

I mean, for fuck sake, New Corp. own 50%, almost HALF, of the print media etc in Great Britain. One fucking corporation controls half of what people read. That's fucking crazy and should never be allowed to happen. Just like Comcast buying NBC/Universal, no dice.

And Everybody is trying to cheat him---that's a 30+ yr thing, but more so now due to the economy. I tell him to cut off the Conservative shit and listen to some Jazz---at least you are not being mind warped by someones agenda.

When my dad listens to Mike Savage, he smiles and says, "you Tell 'Em! Tell the Truth!", and don't get him started on"The Illegals", and every Latino is an "illegal", mind you this is a black man---who obviously forgot that he is a black man ("Are all black men criminals, Dad?"). I told him that he may have a Latina for a daughter in law, then what...

"Obama doesn't know what he is doing!", "Congress are bullies who want to rob you blind!", Blah, blah, blah. If I come over to visit or to help out, I only talk about cars, work...and even then it leads to the same damn thing...

Michael Savage has more in common with black people having grown up in the Bronx than Obama does having grown up in cushy Hawaii and prep schools.

And my mom HATES it! And nobody wants to ride in the car with him...because THAT is on, and starts arguments...at least have a moderate show, or listen to C-Span.
