who are you talking about because I can show you were I was a Ron Paul supporter before the 2008 general election. I'll be happy to bump threads. I also wasn't the only person who liked Paul but ended up voting for Obama. Paul actually had quite a bit of support from people that are left of center. same here. I was devastated RP didn't get the nod but I sure as hell wasn't going to vote for McSame. I thought at least we could try something different with Obama but it turned out to be a bust. Now we need to get the right guy in there.

I think Congress would take advantage of Ron Paul and have a field day with him since he is incapable of compromise. While I cannot stand compromise, especially what we have seen since its been entirely Right Wing, getting something done is better than getting nothing done.

It would be interesting to see how many times Congress would have to override a Ron Paul veto though. Great entertainment for sure.

It's about choosing the lesser of the two evils. If Paul was running in the last election, I would have voted for him. I could not bring myself to vote for McCain with Palin, no fucking way. McCain with someone else, depends who.

I haven't heard of him trying to legislate religion. Maybe I should pay more attention, can you show some examples? That will definitely affect my thinking.
