Also, most women today think of the wedding and not the marriage. People also used the celebs as measuring sticks for themselves. Marriage is a commitment and a covenant with God, but since God has been taken our of everything, including marriage, most people say their vows and "I Do" with hollow words.
What happens when you are hooked up to the dialysis machine and have to go 2-3 days of the week? What happens when you lose that nice car as well, and your muscles go? Will that woman stick around, when her girlfriends are going out on vacations with their husbands or boyfriends? We hope so, but "for better or worse", doesn't stick in our generation's minds...we only think about the "for better"...look at all these Senators, as soon as their wives got sick or were going thru an illness, they were hopping on some other vagina...and that is the examples that they give us.

So, offline or online, the same result...selfishness is the name of the game.

I don't really see the problem with that - it's become a lot more socially acceptable to meet up with people online now - maybe ten years ago you would have been seen as a desperate loser using the internet as a last resort to score a woman but people's lives are different now - social media is used by practically everyone and it's inevitable that you're going to meet someone on the internet first and then see them in real life later - some people work jobs as well that are unsocial hours and meeting people in bars, clubs, etc is impractical and online dating is the best way to go.

Girls get hit on everywhere they go. If your an attractive girl and you work bad hours, your still going to meet guys. I know a few girls who dont go out and dont date guys from work who are always meeting guys. Because they're normal. I can guarantee most of the girls on online sites who are attractive have something wrong with them.

Happened to me when the ex-wife became wheelchair bound and needed 24hr care. Everyone around me said they would have left their spouse, given the same situation.

Actually, my post speak the truth...
I deal with people who look only at the surface and not character and take in account the whole person, and then want somebody (The State) to fix their problems....I deal with people who are so enabled, that they want a magic bullet for them making their own mistakes, and when they don't get it, they complain, and make the same mistakes over and over again.
I see what people either don't want to see, or prefer ignorance until the shit hits the fan...
I also had to be schooled first, to learn that none of us are true playas (including anyone on this site), it is only and illusion...women are will always be the true playas, and the power rests with them. We are only what they require us to be...

I agree with kh300 that I don't want the story of how we met to be on the Internet. But I will concede that as more relationships are forming online it is much more common and not as weird to say you met on a dating site but still I would rather meet my future mrs out in the community. I admit I have dated a few women from the net but none of them I thought were that great. But I did notice they are kinda clingy and you can only half ass I and they will keep wanting more dates.
