You got to do it all, mainly free weights of course.  It's not rocket science, light weight on leg extensions?  Trainer, you're a fuckin pussy and you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.

Light weight on leg extensions only apply to senior citizens, if gh15 makes high level competitors, if coach brings out the best in athletes, well then you trainer, you produce shit.

After 20 years of squatting and a destroyed lower back, the smith machine is the only thing I can use that doesn't hurt and still give me good leg size.

When you are old and your knees are fucked up from years of heavy leg extensions maybe then you will remember what I said.

Do reverse training start off by working your hamstings, then do leg press and finish with barbell squats, by then your quads will be fried so you can squat with a light weight and still get a good burn make sure you use a lifting belt.

I always start w hams.  I like the blood flow in that region that acts like a cushion when I squat.

Some of the newer machines do move in a natural line. Smith machine is probably a bad example.

only machines with cams and loads of position selectors would come close to a person's natural arc. even then, the lifter has to find the correct positions, and the cams need to intersect with the resistance at the correct place too.

I have never seen or heard of anyone tearing anything while performing full olympic squats. Every fucking injury is due to pathetic half squats, smith half squats or hack machine squats. Especially hack machine is really, really unnatural movement. Smith machine kills my joints like nothing else.

There was a study performed on a population of olympic lifters which concluded that oly lifters are as likely to have knee injuries as statistical person. So basicly oly style squats are as dangerous as walking. Of course this way it's impossible to every bodybuilding shithead to claim 300kg squat and it's actually hard and heavy to do that so they avoid it. And without VMO muscles developed from deep squats they complain about their knees like little girls.

the cult of bodybuild has the highest prevalence of freak knee and back defects that only pose a problem in high bar full squats

lay nortom claims he can't squat high bar full depth because he is tall lol....

so he used his superior brain power and high level education to create the tall man's squat technique lol....

has he ever seen the height of world class weightlifters in the superheavies? they make the bar look short

example:

Born    Mikhail Koklyaev
Russia Russia
Occupation    Olympic-style weightlifting Strongman Powerlifting
Height    6'4" (1,91m)
Weight    350 lb (160 kg)
