Jean-Paul used to train at World gym in San Diego.  Pretty strong dude pound for pound.  I saw him in 2005/06 squatting 405 for ten ass-to-grass reps.  He also performed lying leg curls with the entire rack for 10-12 reps.  Still looked great for his age, albeit with a little less size that in the pics.   Not 100% sure, but I would tend to believe he was natural, or perhaps a light user during his competitive days.

The Man who hired me at Gold's Venice, Darin Lannaghan. Guy could have been an excellent pro. Rarely took much gear, crazy arms, nothing missing. Got busy with work/wife/kids etc.

Cool.   When he could have been turning pro and winning, he had a wife, one or two young kids and a full time job. Had he pushed all that to the back burner he would/could have been an IFBB star.

It's funny- I saw so many cats try for the IFBB "thing" when they had very little chance- but Darin had HUGE potential and decided to go another direction.
