Even Kurt Rambis was knocking 'em down, left and right.    :-\     ;D

of course he did

Rambis had a hipster look before it was even cool

plus, he was the safe laker to bang cuz a broad could bang him and not be afraid that he would steal their purse

maybe he didn't want HIV

I don't get that because he would get many high fives after he scored

its fine to thank jesus when you win

but

you also have to say "fuck you god" when you lose

why does he get the credit and none of the blame?

I don't think you have to say FU when you lose but you should acknowledge that Jesus must not have wanted you to win and/or wanted the other team to win instead.  That would at least be consistent.   Still crazy as shit but consistent

I am NOT a Tebow fan but he doesn't seem to be pushing anything.

Remember this classic?

that's exactly how I feel about abortion

if you're against it then don't have one

simple isn't it?

It effects lives dummy. Difference between praying for a life as opposed to taking one.

lot's of things "effect lives"

what business is it of yours what anyone does that has no effect on you?

how about you conduct your life according to your own personal religious beliefs and let others do the same

pretty simple isn't it?

Very few things in life effect it they way this does. Taking a life isn't easy....for most. There goes that commonsense thing again!!

Joe - what other people do in their lives, the choices they make, etc.. are none of your business

Just like the choices you make in your life are nobody elses business

Why did I half expect this thread to be about Tim Tebow's gardener running a drug operation.

Abortion isn't taking a life dumbass, the things aren't even born yet LOL.  Praying should be classified in a psychology text book as a mental disorder.  Talking to a made up person in the sky, by yourself, thinking something will happen, WBAHWAHAHWAHWAHAHWHHAWA  ;D

I'm an atheist, but I fucking love Tebow and all his jesus loving glory.  He draws strength from his beliefs, and kicks ass in the process, good for him.  What's wrong with a guy having faith (however incorrect, and or misguided it may be)?  People get worked up over the wrong shit (like sasha grey reading to kids), and ignore the real problems.  Tebow is a winner and a positive role model for kids. And he doesn't give his detractors an ounce of (public) worry or acknowledgement.  If this was some black guy, he'd be talking about the "HATERZ"  and posing for the camera, flashing gang signals and doing some stupid jiga dance, all the while not realizing he'd failed to cross the goal line (desean jackson).  Tebow for president!

Oh please, for every instance of "Tebowing" I'll give you a billion instances of non-"Tebowing" behavior.  For all those so overcome and insulted by this Christian expression I'll raise you the unlimited buffet of non-Christian expressions force fed to both believers and nonbelievers alike every single day of every single week of every single month of every single year in every country on this planet.

agree a million percent, Christian hate and bigotry is one of the last accepted forms of prejudice, i love hearing about Tim, watching him play and hearing him talk, people hate him because he's a WINNER, the guy never has anything negative to say about his teamates, other players, management, etc., if i was starting a football team i'd pick him over ANY player in the league to build it around.

Here's the thing, it's only socially acceptable to express an opinion about religion if you don't engage in religion.  Participate in religion and express an opinion about it and your immediately deemed as "forcing your beliefs on others".

and lets be honest a lot of it is just good old fashioned hate, hes a big strong good looking kid making a ton of money, always smiling, having fun, isnt out in "da club" at 3 in the morning shooting himself in the leg, beating up strippers, having 8 different kids with 7 different women, etc.

im not absolutely 100 percent sure he walks the walk because you can NEVER be sure about anyone but this kid goes on missionary trips and helps poor people around the world in his offseason and generally lives a pretty clean life and it intimidates people, people dont want to believe that a guy with so much could be so giving.
