STFU f.aggot. Not hard beating your opponents when you are over 6'4 with clavicles as wide as an oarsman's and 240+ lbs of lean muscle and they are typical LHWs under 6'3 with medium frames and around 200 lbs.

And Machida won the first round 10-9 according to the judges, and was winning round 2 10-9 as well until Jones grabbed Machida and strangled him like a pig in a slaughter house. Jones was exposed in this fight.

SUCKMYMUSCLE
LOL.. This is fighting SM.. It takes a few rds.to figure out your opponent.. To say Machida exposed Jones, then in the same breath Jones won because he was too big is plain crazy talk.. They were both trying to get in the groove, once Machida hit Jones, the fight changed.. Jones was no longer worried about Machida's power, took him down, stood him up,and made him go night night.. I like Machida, but could not have cared any less if he won..Jones is going to be around a very, very long time.. He is a gifted athlete, and his size makes it a little easier to win fights, but he has not taken any easy fights. He's intelligent and patient. He's running through guys that have cleaned up the division, and makes it look easy..

Saying Machida has the body of a seventh grader isn't really giving him any kind of compliment.   ::)

Jones is just utter destruction when he gets in the cage.  Machida didn't have a chance.  After that first punch, it was all over for Machida.

Jones was exposed?  For what, being able to take a good, solid shot and not be phased?
And there is NO WAY he has 240 lbs of LEAN MUSCLE at fight time.  If he weighs in at 205 lean, how does one put back on 35+ pounds of muscle before the fight.  If he's truly 240+ pounds of lean muscle, there is no way he cuts 35 pounds.  If he's already lean at 240 as you claim, he'd have a hard time dropping that much.  You should know this.

You're a complete moron twink.

Hey, dumby, ready to get owned? Bodybuilders have been known to put on 20 to 40 lbs in 24 hours by carbing up. One kilogram of glycogen is stored in muscle with 3 to 4 liters of water. If you are carb depleted, you can put on over 30 lbs in one day by eating tons of carbs and drinking tons of water. Jon Jones drops to 205 lbs by eating nothing but raw fish and vegetables. That is, no carbs. Then he loads up on carbs the night before. If you can't see how much bigger he is in the cage than in the weight-in, then I can't help you...

  You = fucking owned. ;D

Never again argue with someone smarter than you.

he wont move up, Dana wont let him. Jones is at 205 for a reason, to keep Brazilians at 205 from holding the belt. UFC cant have 3 foreign title holders in the org.

Foreign as in non-US? Care to explain this since the UFC is part of an international organisation that has as much talent from Europe & South America as it does from the United States. There are no foreigners in these fights, only contenders & champions.

Yes and that is going to be lean muscle isnt it! When have you ever seen someone put on that much weight in such a short timeframe and still look muscular and cut? You insist on speaking down to everyone that doesnt agree with your own theories and opinions, well im willing to bet im just as smart as you and then some - infact i dont think you have ever come out of a conversation with me looking anything remotely resembling like a winner. lol Jones 240.... have you seen his legs??? sticks! no leg development what so ever...
sure he will be a bit fuller at fightnight.... but maybe about 10 - 15 pounds....
you say bodybuilders gain 30-40 pounds carb loading.. true, after a contest. but have you ever done that?? do you know how you feel? you feel soooo pumped and soo full.... that is what you do NOT want as a fighter, feeling pumped.
and you are beating a dead horse anyway, it is all within the rules, even if he did gain 40 pounds... or 50 , or 60 as long as he weighs in at 205 all is OK!
btw Machid weighs more than 205 on fightnight as well.....
machida is a pretty big dude irl... 6'2 and 230ish.... also cuts down in weight to fight.
Be Happy,
Optimus

You see, you thought you had me there, but you are just another dumbass who is about to get owned. The more muscle you have, the more muscle you have to store glycogen and water, and thus you will gain more weight than a guy who carbs up just as much as you do. Jon Jones at 205 lbs has a lot more muscle and less fat than his opponents at 205 lbs, so when he carbs up, he gains a lot more weight than his opponents. And I never said that he gains 20 to 40 lbs of muscle: I said he gains that much in weight and that this weight is not fat.

  You = owned :)

SMM, you dont think Jones will move up eventually as he ages and gets bigger? I'm sure he's thinking in terms of having a long career. You would hope his domination of the 205 class would have him looking for new challenges that only the heavyweight class will bring. He seems like an arrogant fuck to me, I dont care for him at all but is prob playing it smart by being patient with his career

Jones is 230 OFFSEASON. Normal 202 weight at least nothing spectacular. Forest, rampage and some others are bigger. SMM is just trolling.

He will eventually move to hw since hes young. probably in around 4 years. When legs matches upperbody lol. And hes gotten a bit bigger overall.

I have schooled you several times and the best response you could come up with was something along the lines of "epic meltdown". The additional "weight" you speak of would have to be lean muscle - not water etc - as if you look at Jones he has a very athletic appearance and is cut. If his "weight" was not lean mass then 20+lbs (especially 30 - 40) on anyone would make them look at best smooth and yet he still looks in phenomenal shape.

Pull your head out of your ass and realise that you have no idea what youre talking about, the bullshit you come out with in unbelievable (you essentially say you dwarf guys like Lesnar & have an IQ that would make Sidis himself inferior - surely you must have heard of him without sitting there frantically Googling him) and you put it across with the maturity of a 12 year old with ADHD.

Next?

Nobody will be touching Jones at 205, he has done in 3 fights what GSP & Silva took 5+ fights to do and that is put a stamp on the division which says it is his to toy with. 220+ he would physically resemble Chieck Kongo and would be giving up alot of his advantages to the men with real power & size, he knows that Evans & Davis are the only ones left and they'll soon follow suit. Everyone talks about forcing GSP to move up to 185 but again i say why not have Anderson move up to 205 to fight him?

Jones is 230 OFFSEASON.

What proof do you have of that? I have seen a picture of him posted at Sherdog where he is 255 lbs with his shirt of and looks almost exactly like he does in the cage except a lot puffier. Face it, idiot: he has to starve himself for months to drop to 205 lbs by eating raw fish and vegetables with no fruits or starches, and then he carbs up and regaines his normal weight of around 230 to 240 lbs in a day or two.

I am a much older member of this board than you. I have a lot more posts on bodybuilding - the topic for which the board was created - than you do. You, on the other hand, have 80% of your posts on your man-crush on a single MMA fighter. So who is the troll?

How about from ehh ...Jon jones himself.

Provide a video or a link to an interview where jon jones says hes 250 and the photo that follows it. And I do the same when he says hes 230 off.
Or hey, just keep trolling...

Im not going to bother responding to you more before you have provided just that. Troll.

Because hes 6'5 and has an 84 inch reach, its unfair. Jones wouldnt be as effective if he were 5' 11 with a 76 inch reach. His size and reach advantage are what mainly wins him fights. Not only is he beating the elite 205ers, hes absolutely destroying them with ease- finishing fighters that have never been finished.

that is because he uses his height very good! not as easy as it looks btw....
it's not unfair... all within the rules...
shorter fighters can win from taller ones, they need to get it up close and personal and then to the ground.
machida was scared to get close, he never does that, not his style... and machida is not great on the ground.
yeah he is a black belt in bjj, but that was more of a gift then it was earned......
moment it got to the ground machida got hit bad by an elbow.....
he lost, lost bad, get over it! happens lol....
i am not a jones fan per se, but the dude beat all the top dogs in a heavily stacked division... dude is a great fighter! talented!
but someone will beat his ass...... i hope his next fight will be aganst hendo..... hendo is a great wrestler and has ko power.... would be a good fight!

Hey, "dumby", you said he is 240+ pounds of LEAN muscle.  If he's LEAN at 240 +, he doesn't have a whole ton of gylcogen and water weight going on, let alone 35 + pounds that can be dropped.

You own yourself time and time again "dumby"

My point being is that I doubt jones enters the ring at 240 + pounds on fight day.  He makes weight at 205, then probably carbs up a bit and enters at about 220 tops, just like all the other LHWs out there.

SMM is beyond grasping at straws on Jones.  (translations for "dumby"---- your excuses are becoming absurd)

I should of mentioned that Jones is a good fighter which he is, very good. And he doesnt win his fights SOLELY with his size, but his size is a MASSIVE advantage here and the LHW division will now be in limbo until he decides to vacate the belt. Im not even interested in watching his fights mainly because theres no excitement when you already know whos going to win.
