to be honest i would rather hire someone fresh out of high school who didn't attend college and instead worked many different jobs, because those people understand the value of money and hard work

to me liberal arts degrees are beyond worthless. not only does it show that you have very little understanding of the technical world, which is vital in today's economy, but it also shows that you wanted an easy time through college so you can have sex, drink alcohol, and party all night with your fraternity brothers and sisters and ditch class.

the only degrees i find viable are those who have studied engineering, something finance/economy related, or medical.

to me a degree in psychology with a subpar gpa and no internships and a lackluster interview, well, that person just spent 100 grand on a paperweight when they were better off working out of high school

exactly..Honestly, I think parents need to teach kids as young as 5 or whatever, they need to earn the extras they want, even if it's a new coloring book or monster high doll.

My parents said "you don't like having the car home at 10" get your own car. So I borrowed money from my grandparents at 16, paid my own insurance, my father warned me, miss one payment and I will repo that car. I worked as a waitress at sizzler in san diego and made great money. To this day, my parents said no matter how much trouble I got into for ditching school to be at the beach, they couldn't take my car away because I paid for it.

Holy fuck so fucking grown up and hardcore.

Ok mr salesman.  Or sales manager lol.  No one wants to work for you because the job you are offering SUCKS.  Your selling renewable energy, do you give them people that have already agreed to a visit to go to, or do they call people in the phone book, it sounds like a job that is worse than any minimum wage job.  Yes you could make a lot of money, but just like the lottery, you probably won't.

Gas money, these are kids you are trying to give the job to, most likely they have a crappy car, why put huge mileage on it and not get reimbursed for gas while not know if they even will get paid, they may even come back negative money for the day, that is why they are saying no thanks.

If you job offer is so good, why aren't you doing it as a second job to the one you have now?

You probably already know this, but commission only sales jobs are the worst kind of job to exist.

And you didn't answer what tax form do they fill out, are they individual contractors or employees?  Please tell us...

We give them a list. Those who don't make a decent living are either inept when it comes to sales or plain lazy. In both cases not a good thing.
No one is forcing them to use their cozy cars. They are offered a public transport pass. If they like to travel by car they will pay for the gas.

I already did that job, i didn't like it, but still did it. And it is because of that that now i've moved on onto big pictures stuff which i like more.
They get an autonomous contract. I dunno how you call that in the US or wherever the hell you are.

I most likely will be Google Intern this summer
6-7k$/month as an intern, trollololo

I've never worked in my life and I think that "you have to work hard as a kid in mcdonald to know value of money" is epic bullshit. My parents are wealthy (md doctor and teacher) and I wasn't ever big spender. I always liked collecting money, some times as a kid I had more money than my parents lol and they borrowed from me... Some have genes to be wealthy, some not.

I had uni scholarship for 2 years anyway, but I didn't work hard for that either. Pure talent and sometimes luck.

You might be "intelligent" , but there's intelligence and intelligence. Intelligence without heart leads you nowhere. Judging by your post, you obviously have no heart. How many people like you end ruining their legacy because they were just raised to become smart, but without faith. Read the Bible, you might learn one thing or two about sons and daughters driving their ancestors legacy into the ground in one generation, as "intelligent" as they were.
