i'm with you - I think he would look a lot worse than he does bulked.   He fills out a shirt and takes up a lot of space in a room, but yeah, dieted down, he wouldn't look good at all.  

With that build, his best bet is just to enjoy being a big dude, ,and not try to jump into the BBing game.  They look happy, what more can you ask for.

she can probably deadlift 450. she is more muscular than natural weightlifters and considering she's only 5'4 or something, i doubt she'd have any issue with lifting a real 150lb db because that's barely anything to lift to hip height
