I think following someone around all day, and following a suspicious person in YOUR neighborhood are entirely different.
The only one who acted suspiciously is Zimmerman, this much seems to be clear, sneaking around, dobbing in civilians walking minding there own business, where I come from, this is incredibly suspicious behaviour - where i come from crooks aren't liked, but do gooders like Zimmerman are despised even more - that is one crazy suspicious dude, the fact he had already rung the police hundreds of times for things like pot holes in the road and open garage doors shows that something isn't quite right upstairs -
The criminals in my neighbourhood wouldn't tolerate a do gooder like Zimmerman for very long - and the normal everyday citizen wouldn't be too fussed if some arsehole like Zimmerman was taken out while in the course of his sneaky suspicious behavior - pretending to be a do gooder is a great way of deflecting attention away from your own negative behaviour, politicians and the elite do this all the time, why do you think Bill Gates donates millions to charity, do you think he cares about the poor little starving kiddies,
I think not, Bill is buying your mind - I am shocked how little truth people know about Bill Gates, i actually have people come up to me and say what wonderful things he is doing, and I chuckle and laughed at how well his billion dollar media campaign worked on the gullible, I suppose if you act saintly, YOU can get away with anything, including murder!!
