You have to read between the lines bro. When a cop tasers someone and it supposedly "does nothing", they keep tasering. What the story isn't telling you is that the cop most likely was trigger happy with the gun.  And that fact that it was a suicide call, many police would have shown up on the scene. There's a special suicide code that brings in many cops. Which means they all were their to use tasers etc. The guys insides were probably fried. Either that or they fried his brain and the doctor gave him a "special" shot

Actually, they are trained to reassess because continuing to do something that isn't working is insanity. If plan A fails, you go to plan B. Often times only one prong makes contact, rendering the taser a plastic toy gun.

Attempted suicide calls usually get 2 cops.. if a knife or gun is involved a couple more. I'll be willing to bet the Taser had zero to do with his death.

"The police came and instead of trying to talk to him or grab him and get him to the ground, or the paramedics giving him a sedative, they decided to break out their tasers and just tasered him excessively until the point where he went into cardiac arrest. After he went into cardiac arrest, they rushed him to the hospital and revived him. But they estimated that his heart had stopped beating for 10 minutes. They got his heart beating again and put him on a respirator, but he had massive swelling in the brain from the loss of oxygen."


His family took him off a respirator Thursday night when doctors told them Anderson had no chance of regaining cognitive function.

Curtis said his family and friends are considering taking legal action: "We believe there was excessive force used and investigators and attorneys will be called to get to the bottom of what happened to Marland Anderson. Stoney Curtis will see to it that he does not die in vain.
