The power lifting gym i train at on the weekends has up to 160's in 5 pound increments.

Most gyms in this area have 125's max.

My YMCA goes up to 150s.

I'm not sure what "rattle on them" means because I don't speak Irish ;), but from the context of your message, I gather the [almost] 140s were heavy?

With a little practice, a lad as big and strong as you should be able to handle them for flat and incline DB presses.  And all natural, right? ;)

It means have a go on them.

These new DB's the handle spacing is much longer than all others in my gym mkaing it much more difficult - the balance in particular but I hope in the next few weeks that I get the hang for them and the reps should increase to 6-8's sharp enough before I start having to work for every rep.

Oh and all natural. Never have and never will take gear or prohormones.

In my gym most will use them for shrugs or rows but a few will incline and one or two will snatch them etc

To the person who said teh 100s-150's in every gym are always lying in perfect condition. True - even 10 or 15lb increments at that weight are fine. In our gym we have nothing from 85's to 110's. There are adjustable DB's but they are a nuisance to make up.

150lbs... its funny every time i go to the gym that whole Dumbbell rack goes from 100lbs -150lbs is perfectly racked looks like it hasnt been moved around in months

at my gym they have two sets of each five lb increment all the way to 150. people use the higher end dumbbells too. highest i've ever used is 105 for flat bench and two arm overhead tricep extension. i have a friend who's a stalky natural (a little chubby) who can bench 120s. has troubles with his shoulders though prob bc of it.

i saw another natural rowing a 130 the other day. the guys in excellent shape, but his form was total slop. his shoulder was all over the place. ::)
