And what have the favt that gorillas are short and stocky have to do with something, dude? Have you ever seen the length of their arms? Almost twice as long as a Humans! That is why they have so much strength, because they have more muscle mass and they have long arms which give them far superior leverage at using their upper body power.

Sorry for mispelling the word. English is not my first language and I am doing my best. Yes, physics seems to be hard for you. The longer your arms, the further away from your elbows, which is the leverage of point, the barbell will be and the least amount of power will be used to move the weight. Please do the following experiment. Try lifting a car from the ground using your arms, then do it with a car wrench. It will be easier to lift with the wrench do to better leverag

The contractile strengh of the sarcomere is the same for all species. So a pound of Human and gorilla muscle are equally strong. But gorillas have the upper body strengh of 20 Humans because they have 3 times more overral musle than Humans, and 80% of their muscle is in their torso compared to 25% for Humans, meaning that they have 8 times more muscle in the torso than Humans. This means they should be only 8 times stronger, right? Wrong because their musles attach to the tendons in the
