A bit unfair to compare Yates to that ugly, dwarven gargoyle. But yes, Branch in the 90's would struggle to crack the top 10 of most shows. Comparing him to Yates is laughable at best.
They're actually a lot alike , both really hard core trainers , both tore muscles , both are known for grainy conditioning and thickness and not having pretty physiques Dorian would crush him in a contest but they are similar in a lot of ways
Im gonna go out on a limb here and say that Branch is a very distant wannabe of Dorian.Dorian's training was really hardcore - Branch moves weight 3 inches and makes a lot of noise.Not even getting into the physiques... Dorian makes Branch look like a red-headed stepchild.

I just don't see the "condition" thing with Branch...with Dorian et al, you saw the muscle fibers, thin skin---peeled...Plus the muscles were seperated...not with Branch, he's just a lump, big legs but detail and conditioning are missing, especially back.
