This dude who looks like Fred Sanford's son, he looks like he bought his outfit from a 1994 NPC Wear catalog, complete with Lee Haney head and wristbands. He has headphones on so he doesn't realize that when he is doing lat pulldowns with 50 pounds---He makes a sound like he taking the largest shit on earth.

Even when he's curling 30 pounds, he makes the same sound. Then there is the fat guy who wants to talk for 2.5 hours, and does 15 minutes of light lifting,  and then leaves.

dude!!  Sounds like this old guy that used to train at my gym in 2001, he came in EXACTLY at 5:30 am everyday within a min, 5:31-5:29 etc....i swear....he would go to the locker room, come out and do 3 sets of flat bench with 135 and then get changed and leave...he literally did this 3 times a week

This video reminds me of a deadlift set I did a couple years ago, had a very thin bar, felt funny, looked flimsy, nevertheless it was 45lb olympic bar, started 1 plate, 2, 3, 4,5, plates, no problem, then I put 6 plates and a 25 on each side, took it off the rack, took 2 steps backwards, first rep hit the floor, came back up no problem, second rep, half way up a damn plate and a 25 flies off one side, then 2 plates and a 25 fly off the other, then I dropped it and my 2 friends and I nearly pissed our pants in laughter. They fell off cause the bar was bending like crazy and the plates slid off both ends at the same time, now when I deadlift I make sure the bars I use our the thick ones.

This morning I saw three twinks presumably doing a Cross-Fit "WOD", they were doing a brutal giant set of squats with the bar, kipping pullups ( ::)), "burpees" ( ::)), and savage incline press with the 30-lb DBs as the "finisher".  After finishing they slandered their fourth friend who skipped this workout because he thought it was too hard.

I sure as hell hope so.

Those guys have to be able to deal with pretty brutal conditions, like running for miles with 80+ lbs of gear, pick up and carry zodiacs that weigh 300 lbs dry, add water, engine, rucks, rifles and ammo, etc. (Obviously they do this as a team)

They're the elite of the US military. Id be pretty disillusioned if he couldnt dead 225, as I could do that for reps graduating from boot camp @ 204 after losing 20 lbs of muscle and doing nothing but bodyweight excersizes and running.

Doing a shitload of burpees is hard...in our gym we called them "sugar cookies" because the guy who trained our trainer was ex military.  w and when they did them on the beach in SC his DI would laugh at them and say they looked like a bunch of sugar cookies...

Try doing burpees off the side of a heavy bag...instead of jumping you scoop the bag and shoulder it.   It sucks....

from 81-till 2005 or so, yeah i used to train at the same time as johnnie morant and kemper in the early morning. lol, morant would have trouble getting up in the morning and kemper would go to johnnies house and drag him outta bed and bring him to the gym. nick lavitola, guy(duke)duccasse, carla dunlop(mrs olympia), lucho, derrick whitsett(pro), jason arntz(pro) beau matlock(top amature) sean jones(jersey state champ) and a bunch others all trained there through the years. i miss those days

The college gym when I was an undergrad had one of these, fantastic machine.

I do all three exercises from time to time. Maybe if I was a powerlifter I might view them as useless.... but I'm not one and don't really know exactly how they train nor am I interested in finding out.
