I used to respect him. But the no bull spin coupled with the castro like bannings he gives at md has changed my opinion on him. I used to look to him as a crusader.

Don't know him personally so I don't hate him. Seems like at times he will try to have a decent discussion about the sport, and other times he goes into insults and profanity laced tirades. He also doesn't seem to handle criticism well as evidenced by his crusade to ban anyone that disagrees or debates with him. I think he could be a good guy if he could get past his anger issues.

I have no opinion of him. I could care less, don't know him don't really know anything about him. He used to have segment on amerian muscle and he works for MD now. He's like Robert Kennedy to me, I know he exists and I know he works in the industry but that's it....honestly I don't know a thing about them that makes me think they are assholes or not.

I don't get why so many people have a hard on for him.....what the hell did he do to start all of this?

Okay, to illustrate my point about Romano look at this recent post of his.

"Plus, he is a two-faced liar. He comes on here professing his intent to contribute to MD; looking for a position with us, offering his "advise" to better our product, begging for a job, and then goes right over to GetBent and flames us with more of his sophomoric drool"

See what I mean about the anger? Secondly, it's pretty disrespectful to refer to Getbig as "GetBent" considering Ron lets them come on here and spam their crap all the time.

ok, not to defend him but isn't that a pretty accurate assesement of what happened? I'm strictly an observer in this whole fiasco but that seems like a pretty dead on portrayal of the events. Sure he shouldn't have called it getbent but lots of people do that with lots of sites-gayhem for example. From his perspective it's probably dead on.....what's wrong with telling the truth? He's getting torn up over here, why should he be mr. nice guy?

I don't know if it's the truth or not. TA didn't say he wanted a job working for their magazine to my knowledge. Even if he did, that's just one example-there are numerous other examples of him bashing Getbig etc. I don't care if he's Mr. Nice Guy or not..but think about this. Usually if someone is despised within a certain "community" they have contributed to it in some way. I don't think a bunch of people on Getbig woke up and thought...gee I think I'll hate on Romano today because I am really bored."

Most recipes in the book start with good intentions and a few are actually good, but most lack flavor and the textures are off. This book would be good for someone just getting into a nutrition program, or someone who needed a great deal of guidance. I was disappointed with this book.

The muscle-building, fat-burning science of this book is all wrong. I don't want to get too technical, but I am a bodybuilder and fitness competitor, and I know a lot about dieting to both gain muscle and lose fat. This book is wrong on both counts. On top of that, I tried several recipies, and, to be kind, they were bland and flat. Food without flavor. I had heard good things about this book, but I guess I had heard wrong.

This book is amateurish. The photography is bad, the writing is worse, and the meals are very unappetizing. I tried cooking a half dozen meals from this book and all but one of them (liver and oatmeal, surpisingly) were bland. I don't know how else to put it. I liked the liver and oatmeal, iron-boosting breakfast. I just had it for my last meal. But I know most people will not find that appealing. This was a good idea for a book; the execution is the only problem.
