The Amazing Spiderman - Worth Watching
« on: July 04, 2012, 10:05:52 AM »
Just seen it , worth watching. I like what they did with this one , if you're going stay for an extra scene it's not at the end of the credits

Thank god. Him having miraculous webs from his hands in the other movies really irritated me.

How do the fx stack up in this one, More realistic? Some of the cgi in the last was terrible. Is it darker?

This renditition is a little darker, Better plot, better writing, closer to the comics than the others.  I give it 8/10.  I really liked it.

NOt sure if im a fan of the whole parent richard and mary parker,... story, as originally his parents never existed in comics... they did try to do a spin off but they turned out to be clones, but i like the look of the movie, from the trailers ive seen.
choice is an illusion

Doc Ock was kinda "rotund" in the Comics---sometimes with abs, but he was more Fux mid section than Paris midsection.

Didn't this movie follow the same general script at the first Spider Man?  Why remake a movie that is barely 10 years old?  This movie was made out of desperation as the studio would lose its Spider-Man franchise if it did not make another film.

I thought Willem Dafoe was quite decent as Osborn!

He played the insane-part pretty well! :D

Wiggs was probably taking a on little herb supplementation as usual, its a seven out of ten max. The action sets and the emotional scenes with Gwen are top notch, but every character is interrelated to every other character, it's just insane.

just saw the movie.
it was ok. i mean how many different ways can you see Peter
-get bit by the spider
-Uncle Ben gets shot from the robber Peter could have stopped
-Peter have internal struggles at when he first gets his new powers
-Peter get accustomed to his new powers by flying through the city

also this version of spidey isnt as strong as the Tobey version, i know thats hard to believe, but he get his ass handed to him the remake. he's lucky he got saved at the end, he was about to get killed by Mr. Lizard.

Tombstone
Spider-Slayers - The world is after him similar to the way Batman II ended
Scorpion
Rhino
Mysterio - Ok, he'd be a hard one.
Man-Wolf - They could have him transform something similar to Lucian from Under World.  That's real workable.

There are couple still left if the scripts are done right

I really like Man-Wolf, as a Lucian type character but that is just a dream.

I would like to see the Rhino as the next villain...plus they should bring in the Black Cat as a supporting character.
