My child says that, it means two things.

1) That word has been used enough times in front of kid, to make kid learn it.

2) That kid said it without flinching. There was no testing. Kid knew he'd get away with it.

Now, I am not going to shit on palin for her parenting. Her politics, hypocricy, sure. THis is poor taste and shows she doesn't have control of the situation, but tough to hate on her. I can tell ya my kid woudl have a spanking for using that kind of language, but it wouldn't have been modeled in the first place. Palin sucks, but this is a footnote (probably released to keep her show from being cancelled as it has had terrible ratings)

First, the child was allowed to say "I hate you" with no ramifications. It should have stopped there.

Then, Palin was laughing when saying "God is watching you..." Maybe she thinks using that is funny. Use it responsibly, or not at all. But when Palin is standing up giving a speech for $30k next month and talking about how important religion is in her parenting, it'll be a mockery.

Disgusting, really. Palin, get your shit together. I know it is reality TV... and a fat unemployed political prop has-been ain't all that interesting tho.

I'm a Christian and I don't hate gays or blacks. I disagree strongly with homosexuality and gay marraige, but I don't hate them.

I think the producers kept that in the episode to stir the publicity pot. Hell, they were still trying to milk Bristol's confrontation with the gay guy in the saloon early in the series.

i dont think it is from movies. I can't name any movies where that term is used, to be honest.

With all the anti-gay political talk, with the fact bristol's first words to some guy hating on her mom was about homosexuality...

My guess is that she is fixated on it. Anyone who cares that much about the gender of people having sex = their own issues not dealth with.

Either way, no way should that stuff be said in front of kids. that kid blurted it out way too casually.
