See, I dont blame the gun. If there were no guns, the guy could have thrown six vodka bottles/molotov cocktails into the place before he was tackled, and there woulda been at least 7 dead from burned alive in their Sunday best. You can never take away the ability to kill. Any of us could go to a crowded place with a kitchen knife and take down a dozen people before anyone got us to the floor.
At some point, more and more peopel will carry - and they'll start putting down these bad guys. Sucks taht it has to be a militant society like this, but what other solution is there?
Killing with a gun is much easier and more removed than stabbing with a knife, strangling etc. I also suggest it's easier than a molotov otherwise all these masacre guys in America would be using molotovs.
I'm from the UK and we don't shoot each other at the same rate because we have less guns. If everyone had a gun then every nutter who felt a bit pissed off could just go on a killing rampage, like Americans constantly do. And contrary to your analysis we're not molotoving the crap out of each other instead, or doing extra stabbings, we just commit less murders.
Misguided national pride leads you all to think you need to "protect your god-given constitutional right to defend your home" or whatever crap it is you all say, but in reality you're just dying by the thousands each year, whilst hilariously proclaiming the reason is NOT ENOUGH guns.
