It's a monopoly numbs nuts, this isn't good capitalism, as it's based on the concept of competition.
Walmarts thrive in places that are too small to support more than one market which means it's exploiting small towns far more often than big cities. Which is why it has been noted that many major cities ban it, as it makes no difference.
If it's a competition I guess Walmart won. I don't believe in regulating what size buisiness can be put in any town under most circumstances. That's a liberal democrat position of regulation that says government knows best. Let the winner be the place where people want to spend their money. That's free capitalism.
Walmart stinks because it's a complete outlet for China. Just about everything sold has a China connection. If you are looking for a job it's being done at China. The factory making your Walmart can opener took an engineering job, laborer, secretary , foreman,security, accountant, lawyers, architect, janitor and countless other jobs away because it's made there by workers making $50 a month.
