Diet like most things in life needs to be approached in moderation but avoidance of certain substances such as refined sugers and trans fats seems best.

so i'm back in the thread to point out that current american nutritional policy indicates that hydrogenated oils are safe and that polyunsaturated fats lower chances of heart disease...

both claims are patently untrue

I don't want to debate but I strongly encourage you guys to do a little bit more research.

lard is KING

unbelievably healthy, especially in northern climates (to help prevent vit-d deficiency, of course vit-d is not a vitamin at all, it's a hormone, but that's a topic for a different debate)
