Not a problem. I can think for both of us.  I'll defer to him when it comes to training and diet  though.  ;D

Saying it twice still doesn't make it any more believable.
Either show a photo of you when on a cycle as opposed to you being off.
It should be easy shouldn't it?
You should be around 10% up on bodyweight and condition on as opposed to off.
I wont hold my breath though.

I posted the truth and posted a pic. If you don't believe me , fine.
I was "DECENT" , but  nothing great as a bodybuilder.
I'm amazed anyone would think drugs were REQUIRED to develop my physique.

well written. why do be people care if he dont have a ferrari and a big ass house, if this is what he want to do with his life then its up to him. He seems to enjoy  this lifestyle so more power to him

Exactly! I don't think any bodybuilder looks at going pro as a means to make the most money$$$ possible in their life.

I don't see why Jose didn't leave the Northeast for a cheaper part of the country a long time ago.  It's not like he's tied down to a job there.  Why not go somewhere where he can afford a "normal" living situation.

...even though he welches on his debts? You intrigue me. You seem to value this quality (i.e. devotion to repayment of debt) in people you converse with on the board. I guess you look the other way for a pretty face!

Et tu, brute?

He has a work from home job, I'm thinking rural Alabama, Oklahoma, North Dakota, etc.  He'd have more to his name than 1 fork, 1 spoon, a shaker bottle and a dog.

aside from the bullshit chaos, alex23 and bay post, you can live on the cheap in california.

this dude was trying to live phil heath's lifestyle on a 212 budget because of that woman, in which that gets guys all the time.

no house to put over her head and she's on the road for the next sugga daddy.

Being "happy" like these guys make it is just a justification for their other failures and short comings in life... You buy into it when people say that?? GTFO

Bet you Jose is NOT happy, guy is most likely in denial of himself and definitely has some screws loose in his head (thats the majority of bbers for ya)

Nope.

Here's a biological concept applied to the social world: Assortative mating, i.e., like attracts like.

Excellent points here. I think anyone should pursue their dream if they have a genuine passion.
I am bit confused why many claim they can't work a "normal job" and still be a  bodybuilder??
Ronnie was Mr Olympia 2 or 3 times over and still worked as a full time cop.
Arnold and Franco did all kinds of things to be a success outside the gym.

New pro, Kulco is still a full time fireman.

being a cop is not a real job

Really?  ::)

The point is they could all have a stable income from a regular job and still be great bodybuilders.
If you make it big and cash in like Jay, you can quit your 9  t 5, but until then...

LOL, to maintain that level of bodyfat and abs would require full time diet and I enjoy a good meal too much hahaha.
To look like I did in the red trunks (Zane pose), required a very rigid diet and tunnel vision for 3-4 mos.
BUT, thanks for the positive words and I think the solution is to compete once a yr ( again).
By Nov , by achilles will be fully recovered and I can train 100% again.
If I ease into it right , I can maintain a decent, 16 week contest prep schedule and not quit.
They key for me is to look at it as a part time, once a year thing, NOT full time.
I would like to compete again next June , do a couple regional shows and call it a day for another year.

Bodybuilding is a full time job
It doesn't have to be. You do realize that many champs have held jobs outside bodybuilding and won the big shows.
