I disagree with you that he used extreme force. I do not care for LE being in my business, but in that situation, where he is way out numbered, and he needs to gain the upper hand quick, I have no problem with what he did. The guy should not have hit him. If the guy had not struck him, and was just mouthing off and the cop did this, I would have a major problem with it.
Side note, what Octoberfest is that?
he did use a disproportionate amount of force, but that is what police and military do all around the world and have always done this century old tradition is so easy to understand that i sometimes wonder how people still seem oblivious to the mechanisms of such a situation if you value your life always move to a safe zone when you see military or police approaching police and military around the world get away with murder daily. if they perceive you as a threat they can put 5 rounds in your chest and get away with an infraction. some people dont understand i dont get why |

he was laying into the guy while he was subdued by 2 others.
what the fuck is wrong with police?!!... there is a camera rolling and they STILL cant behave like they are trained.
if he doesnt get prosecuted criminally, then the civil lawyers are going to have a field day with the video...
i hope he has a life savings....cos its going to cost him at least that.

Not only was the cop hit first, the cop also had to worry about the bitch attacking him when he took the guy down. The best way to do that imop is use brutal force against the guy who just slap/punched you so you can protect yourself against the unknown in the bitch.
