We have one 17 year old ans two 18 year old that bench 400+ squat 500 and DL 465 (straight bar). I cant help it if you can't understand training.

and your point? I benched that before I ever saw no chain or band at that age...not the point though

facts are facts, lifting submaximal weights at maximal speed (dynamic methond) does nothing to increase one absolute's strength.

start a thread if you want ....so I can embaress you in front of everyone.

DE method of lifting barbells is not necessary for developing maximal strength. A much wiser choice would be to replace the dynamic effort days with lifting sub maximal weights and not placing an emphasis on bar speed...

the dynamic effort method is just a tool for increasing rate of force development.....period. It does nothing to increase one's 1 rep max....

I will start this thread tomorrow. But hear this. If I have an ME day then follow up with a speed day increasing bar speed you will increase 1rm depending on auxiliary lifts. Read verkohanshi (so). Going to finish watching duck dynasty then going to.bed. will finish this tomorrow.

If they squat 500 and DL 465 they are either squatting high or using pl gear.  How much ego lifting do you do exactly "coach"?

Proven method. The muscles are stronger on a negative lift and get stronger quicker, so if you just do negatives and consistently increase your weight your positive movement will increase!

last time i was in a gym with a bench press i was able to hit 315 for 10..  best i ever did was 315 for 13..  highest was 435 for a single..  these days my chest workout is lots of volume and squeezing on cable crossovers, pec dec, and slight incline dumbell press with palms facing eachother..

Have you any videos?

I ask because I roughly that strong but I could not do 435lbs

If the 315 is an all-out max set then there is no way someone who gets 10 reps of that can bench 435x1.  I would put their 1RM in that case at around 400 at most since you're going to lose at least one rep for every 10 pounds you add.

If the 315x10 was preceded by other taxing sets then I could see 435 perhaps.

I always get a kick out of all the jackasses at the gym who'll do 225x8 or so with their platonic lifting parter rowing the last four reps off their chest and afterwards be all "bro I could totally max 400 if I was warmed up / trained PLing" ;D

I can do 3 plates for 14-15 reps in an all out set

I doubt I could do much more than 410lbs and that would be with conditioning to lower reps.
