Sarcopenia is caused by dropping hormone and IGF levels so you can fix that easily enough. although you are going to get age related palumboism eventually no matter what you do (arms start to shrink, more bf, weaker, waist gets a little bigger all that good stuff.)
getting older does suck for recovery and you tweak shit a lot more. I only go heavy every other workout now and I only do bench, deadlift, squat more than once a month.
