Thats the biggest lie going around.  What happened after they were exposed by that rat (Mangini) in week 1 of 2007?  They only went 16-0 and made it to the superbowl.  What happened after 2007?  They went to another superbowl, and are on the doorstep this year. I agree, but you have to admit that the two teams that make it to the superbowl, are often evenly matched. We were heavy underdogs against the Rams in 2001. The Giants were also heavy dogs against our 2007 team. What does taping plays have to do with it? You dont think that the Pats had access to any teams plays during any season?

The taping really doesn't mean jack, the patriots have won dozens of games since then, it's not like a Super Bowl game is any different than a regular season game, it's more important for sure, but a game is a game and they win more than anyone since that happened, including playoffs.

The pats are a great team... I personally think that Bellichick is money (Unless he's playing against Tom Coughlin ) perhaps the greatest coach in the history of football.

Don't mistaken Game Tape vs. Closed Practice tape.  This is where teams try out new alignments, new calls etc... This is where the Pats got the edge.  The opponent thought they would try something new and the Pats already saw that play and new how to defend it.  that was their advantage.
In the end, you still need a good team though to execute.  They have built solid teams for a long time.
