Kobe should retire and not tarnish his legacy by trying to comeback! The only problem is all he knows is basketball! Needs to enjoy his familly!

I bet he never trained calves to strengthen tendon and strengthen the ligaments. His body type was of slight build, small joints and tendons so if you used explosive power for 20 years straight you need to get smart about when you're 35. You can't just play the game. I'm sure he will be back though.

he needs calves looking like this.

Isn't it weird to think we may NEVER see Kobe play in the NBA again?

His next year salary is guaranteed.  He said ten years ago that he'd be long retired by age 35 and doing something else (he used to play bball at manatee community college gym when i was there, back in maybe 95/96?).   "barbershop", he would taunt the 18 year olds with.  He was 18 too, but schooling them 10-to-0 in one on one games.

Kobe might retire from this... he'll be 36 or 37, trying to beat 20 year olds off the dribble.  His stoned rant last night talked about the possibility of retirement.

Last night, Gasol F'd around and got a triple double.  Watch them make noise in the playoffs with DWIGHT leading the way.
just like jordan, these guys dont know what else to do , they re overspecialized in one area of their lives... It must be like getting off steroids , depressing. Oh well, he still a multi milionaire... i predict wife finally divorces him tho now he s finished.
I said it, i said he would destroy his body pushing the envelope too far, right before playoffs. And there, it happened. Howard is going to play like shit he s not a leader or anything; this clown might even leave lol.

Imagine if Dwight, Pau and Steve rally to win the championship.  That would be irony that Kobe would t be needed.

lol...not gonna happen tho. Nash and howard will be invisible. They ll get steamrolled in first round. There would have been a chance  with pjax as a coach, but with pringles? no way.

Dwight can dominate though like he did in Orlando. It might finally run right with Nash at the point.

with no defense they re going nowhere in the playoffs, lol do you see them beat okc, spurs...heat? please. they have 0 defensive capabilities, nash cant defend, he s old, maybe howard, but no way he put both def and offense on his -injured- shoulders... Dantoni run and gun /no defense moronic strategy only got kobe injured and the rest of the team burned out right before p/o exactly as i predicted it... this is the end for LA.

Kobe proved he could almost single handedly get the team to the p/o, but after that point, you ve go to be realistic. Now he s injured, they re toast.

The biggest loss for them was meta. Only guy to play defense. Sad that Kobe is done. It might actually help keep Dwight in LA. What they need to do is make a run for Irving  piss of Cleveland.

i blame dantoni run and gun offense... poor assholes were all burned by the time the 4th quarter started. Kobe due to his exceptional athleticism -and response to designer roids and hgh- still had stamina, but look where it led him; even he finally destroyed himself going too far for too long. There s a reason pau, artest and kobe got hurt this season, simply because as they get older it's dumb to make them run from one side of the court to the other constantly not having enough time to recover on def. That's the way i see it, im not an expert tho. But when they were coached by pjax and his triangle offense, they seemed less tired. Look at spurs, popovich 's defensive system, not a lot of flashy drives to the basket but a lot of time passing the ball until someone makes an easy basket, staying the whole 24 sec in the oponent 's paint.

Buss and Mitch fucked up with that hire. But they couldn't fire him as well after 5 games.

True...but they should have. He spent the whole season trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, and what's the end result. Everyone tired and hurting...Kobe might be done, and for what, to maybe get bounced out of the playoffs in four games ? he was the worst possible choice to coach that roster....any competent conventional coach could have gotten better results and not pounded his players into dust.

Mike D. had that one great year where he ran every one to death with that NO defense and just let us score 150 per game style    Robert Horry ended that with a fore arm smash to Nash nose that Parker had already destroyed

That's what I was thinking. If and that's a big if, Dwight can dominate I think they may surprise us with Nash and Gasol backing him up.

Yep...hahahaa.

Gimmick offense. Doesnt win championships.

The knicks will flame out in the second round too. All those threes will stop dropping like butter when playoff intensity starts  tightening them up a little.
