Total Illusion.  It was all fat.

Where are you at now?   Going for a diet down.  Bulk?   Maintenance?

Not too tall, around 5`11-6`0 but my arms are unusually long.

If I am trying to lift VERY HEAVY I will permit myself to get to 185-190 or so.  There really is little difference at 185 and 175 for me other than a bit of lost definition.  Something I would notice, but nobody else would.

I only start watching and counting calories for around 6-7 months a year.  The other months I don`t count and just eat.  Sometimes I count longer than 6-7 months, sometimes not.  Its not specific its just if I want to look or perform a certain way in the gym.

All of the pics of me are all different weights in the 168-185 range with the exception of the lard ass pics at 240-245 lbs where I purposely used to force feed myself.  I`m talking 5-10,000 calories easy every day.  A gallon of milk a day, and everything I could eat.  I don`t do that anymore and never will again, but it sure was fun to lift ungodly (for me anyways) amount of weight.

Looked horrible though.

I am 163 lbs at 5'11" .. am I close to 6%?

The goal was to get as close to 6% without drugs. I posted my diet and training regime. I have been at it for 3-4 months now. Lost 40 lbs of blubber, water and some muscle.

THIS is trully what it looks like without drugs. None of those bullshit natty claims.

From my point of view, getting as lean as you are would scare me to death. I started out at 15 years of age weighing 126 lbs and standing nearly 6'. There is no way I could ever go back to anything near that unless I was locked away without food. I worked much to hard to change that look topping out at 225 lbs when I was 29 years old. These days I weigh about 200 lbs, give or take a few. I could maybe get down to 180 lbs. without panicking that I was becoming emaciated looking again.

Bodybuilding for some people is all about control. And yet, when we look in the mirror and see something very different from what others see, we clearly have issues and despite what we try to convince ourselves we are out of control.

Agreed some of these people don't get it. Getbiggers live in a "shirtless world" doesn't matter how you look with clothes on. Thats why shredded twinks at 160 pounds get credit. Most smart people know the dedication it takes to get into the single digits.

Sev - keep going to what?    At this point seems like you are going to lose more muscle than fat .    Not worth t IMHO.
I agree with you .. I could get ripped but I will be 150 lbs.. I do want to finish what I started. I also want to get in the shape of my life. No excuses

I would be more interested to see if you could maintain this bf and how you would fill out with little a more carbs if you cycled them.

I started today to cycle carbs. I want to see myself how I react. I actually think my bodyfat will lower itself. I still have quite a bit of fat in certain areas (you can see in the photos.

I think you'll look even leaner as long as the calories stay low on most days giving yourself a higher carb day or a simple large cheat.

But yeah personally I wouldn't try going lower...simple water manipulation, more color, filled out with a pump would look much different on you.

What are you trying to prove Sev? The bodyfat level you desire is not maintainable for a natural. I do think leaner is better. Its about what you look like naked.

Sev you look good.... I don't think you need to go any further.  Hold it there and just try to pack some muscle very slowly without sacrificing the cuts!

Good work!

Thats the thing Ach, you have to sacrifice something as a natural. You can either be big in clothes (fat) or peeled and skinny (bodybuilding wise)

Getting there is hard enough - but maintenance over the long term has almost proven impossible to me .

Its not that hard "assisted".

This is why I'd like to see sev try to see how hard something like that would be naturally. But you're right even getting there is not easy...if it was everyone would be doing it and posting recent pics.
