It's a couple of things I speculate on. One is the high blood pressure brought on by steroid use. Having high blood pressure at rest on top of the crazy spikes from lifting weights is hell on the kidneys.

Another big problem is oil injections. The kidneys try to filter out that junk and it just wrecks them.

Some rocket scientist will say it's just sterile vegetable oil. Well, that's great to put some on a salad that goes through your digestive system. Putting 8 ounces directly into your muscles and therefore your blood stream is going to gunk up your kidneys.

every guy who has somewhat more muscle than a regular guy on his skeleton-frame, will absolutly have elevated creatinine reading.every single one.

this doesnt mean much, but its there.

every guy on steroids will have increased red blood cells plasma levels.

every guy on gear will have elevated blood pressure on gear at times during the day.

elevated blood pressure isnt so good for kidneys.

every guy on gear, even on non orals , his liver will work harder, even the diet and training contribute themselves to that.liver working harder affects kidneys too.

this whole sport isnt the healthiest thing in life to do.

if one doesnt want to be "too big" from a health perspective, then watch the creatinine levels, if they raise to much, youre "too big".

and by big and muscle,i mean lean and pure muscle mass, not the remabulking fatso swines.

those will die off elevated blood pressure issue and fatty livers, those dumb fucks.

were talking about hard, steel-like muscle, not bloof.

My creatinine reading is always a little high. I don't use any bodybuilding drugs. I have never heard that bodybuilding will elevate it. Where have you heard this or why do you speculate that this happens? I thought it was from my  supplement creatine use being turned into the waste product creatinine but now you have me wondering.

Steroids can cause hypertension leading to renal hypertension.  Which can destroy the kidneys.  Portal hypertension is another thing to watch out for.

Pretty sure diabetes is the number one cause of kidney failure and all these pros have diabetes or at the very least are pre-diabetic. Add all the other elements into the mix and it's a recipe for disaster.

Portal hypertension is another thing to watch out for.

I've been present when portal hypertension caused the varicose veins on someones oesophagus to rupture...very messy.

For those who dont know, the portal circulation is between the stomach and liver, it should be nice and free flowing but if you screw your liver with drugs and/or alcohol and make the liver fatty then the circulation slows down considerably and backs up to the stomach causing varicose veins around the stomach and creeping up the oesophagus.

Nice description. I guess I'll skip that third burger I was about to order. Thanks.

I drank like a fish at a Casino last night. I wonder how much abuse my liver can take.

everyones different, i know guys that did juice for a few months n had problems, alot of those guys where predisposed to certain things though. i know dudes now that been juicing since the 70,s n they have healthy kidneys n organs, they only do a cycle a year though n stay at reasonable dosages. guys who use alot of pain killers that have that acetophemene in it is was kills the kidneys, the opiates itself dont harm the kidneys but the acetophemene is the killer

yes , and if you have the blood test up to three days after intense exercise (especially legs and back) your levels will be higher.

elevated protein in the urine is much more dangerous

tylenol is actually much better for the kidneys. There is a form of kidney disease caused by avil/aleve thats common in 30+ people, especially women, from taking advil daily

yes, training and lots food will elevate liver parameters up to 100%(for me atleast,i tested).

and oh yeah,if there protein in the urine, your kindeys are done

Yep, but bodybuilders still worry if they don't get a pound of protein a day that they'll waste away lol

When i was a teenager i bought a flex magazine back in 1995.
I never understood why there were so many pages advertizing urologists and dialisis machines in a "health" magazine; 10 years later i began to understand the reason why.
Steroids, overweight, gross protein intake ruins one's health.

High protein for a long time is worse than steroids and hormones.

For years, bodybuilders have been denying the possibility of kidney and heart issues and look at all of the recent deaths and serious health implications that are popping up everywhere. What a sad sport. Bunch of fucking abusers and delusional twits.

I've always suspected that bulking to stupidly heavy weights and doing it too quickly was going to catch up with people, but everyone called me a sketch-hard or a jealous twink (I got fat and huge too, no jealousy here!). I stopped bulking and getting over 10% bf and I don't load up on the protein anymore either. Heart is strong as fuck, I can run forever and I never get winded like I used to. I'm fortunate to be young and have only juiced for a few years, but to everyone else I urge you to give your heads a shake. Not vilifying PEDs at all, but also not thinking that they're "completely harmless" either. Be real with yourselves and don't neglect your health if you choose to use PEDs. They can be used with a lot of very minimal sides and risks, but it isn't completely fool proof and everyone has a genetic predisposition to something or other, and chances are that one of the PEDs out there could be really dangerous for you.

Don't listen to gh15 and his stupid advice... he suggests that exogenous growth hormone fixes everything, but that's wrong and completely irresponsible of him to just try shilling in place of offering real advice. On that subject, that recommendation will just lead to insulin insensitivity which can also exacerbate renal problems. It's all related. Kidneys, water, protein, glucose metabolism, etc... and it's all a lot more important than what we've been parroting. A lot of us here are guilty of it too, myself included. I've given my head a big shake in the last year and got in the shape of my life. Getting off the juice and shrinking down to twink-territory again has been a blessing in disguise for me.

I've had bloodwork done twice a year for the last 3 years and only once did my levels show a little high.. every other time they have been range, including impeccable cholesterol. I really thought I should be dead by now.

You cant damage a healthy heart through exercise, any over exertion will cause you to gas before the heart gives out, an unhealthy heart is what fucks you up.

hey I like u cuz u seem cool, but in a retarded way.  Why would any of us believe the advice u give wen u ask so many dumb fucking questions?  There is not one shred of evidence that a diet with a lot of protein is bad for healthy kidneys. If u have a predisposition for kidney problems then yes be careful. There is evidence to support people with pre existing or undetected kidney problems should lower their protein intake. Just spend some of that money u spend on drugs to resemble a guy that doesnt lift and get checked every so often.
