it's in front of the hairline, darker and shorter than the other hairs even tho i didnt get a haircut

No dick issues at all.  I think I didn't get super paranoid about it.  I think a lot of people are so afraid of it that they cause their own problem.

That's a good question and one I've thought about a lot.  Sometimes I think about quitting and moving on.  Generic finasteride is so cheap it doesn't dent the wallet. Eventually I might.  When that happens I probably get on hrt and say, fuck it.

i'm in a situation similar to archer's.  only 26, but the gray is coming really fast (happened to everyone in my family), and it's thinning out substantially up top.  it's not very noticeable when really short, so mostly i keep my hair somewhere between a #1 and #4 guard in length... haven't even thought of taking drugs for it tho, not that i could afford them at this point.  i have a rich friend who went on "really expensive" medication -- had a serious bald spot going on and regrew everything.  now he claims he's off everything entirely possibly the biggest bullshitter i know.

heme iron, lack of vegetables, and stress i guess  

weird thing is, though everyone in my family (except mom) went gray very young, only me and my oldest brother are losing hair.  my middle brother, dad, and everyone in extended family on both sides has a full head of hair.  oldest brother and i are the only ones into lifting weights as well... bodybuilding related?  we both used creatine for several years in our youth, as well.  didn't it come out that creatine was nasty on the hair?  it's things like this i wonder about from time to time.

i pulled off being bald decent enough... if you are lean and have some size, you'll be fine.  Get a nice tan, hit the iron, buy a new wardrobe, and OWN it.  

I keep my hair fairly short these days.  I've been taking my vitamins, lots of fruit/veggies, clean living, and it's grown back thicker.   Stress really will make you thin out fast.  And a lot of is just massage and styling.
