Platz came off as a deep/spiritual individual in Total Rebuild which he was featured in. Seemed like a really cool cat. One thing I noticed was that his cheeks were really big, it looked like he had a pair of pool balls in his mouth. lol

This is the best leg pic I've ever seen.

I was at this show. Sometime around 97? It was the Mr. Pittsburgh show that Manion puts on. Definatley a classic moment.

Platz stopped competing after he tore his bicep apart and never was able to comeback fromthat.....but Platz did get into terrific condition in the mid 90's....obviously the time frame of these pics-I mean look at Tom's abs.....There are pics from this time period of Platz posing on the beach in a yellow swim suit/posing trunks, maybe someone can find some of these pics.

I cant remember why Platz got into shape in 95-

Platz had more detail, thighs were slightly bigger w/ more pronounced sweep. DeMayo had better calves and bigger teardrops.

Awesome platz's. I wander if he still trains as hard, he sounded like one heck of a scary trainer. Like he had no respect for his own body lol.

i was at this show and my friend jimmy giordano was the one who actually made that posedown happen. it was june of 1995. it was the de. state championships/golds classic. held at the university of de.
jimmy had to spend about an hour convincing paul to actually do the quad-off because he had caught a glimpse of platz's thighs and didnt want to go through with it. paul felt that he had more to lose doing this than platz did as platz was retired and paul was still competing.
