Im hardly in any case an advocate for getting spotted. Many times had to roll a ''decent'' weight over my gut after failing because i hate getting spotted. However doing 4 plates in decline seems kinda gnarly

Ya no doubt, i got stuck once with 3 plates and a 25 on each side on the flat bench, it was like 3 in the morning and I was all alone, was up rep 6-7 then missed my lock-out and the weight came down hard and I was like fuck... tried to roll it down my belly but I couldn't and I was running out of air then i started teeter tottoring it side to side, it took a few tries then the weight flew off one end and flung me completely off the bench and made enormous noise. This would have been youtube classic bench fail.
I laughed afterwards all the way home but fuck that was scary shit bro. lol
