Hernandez is a high profile millionaire athlete. Not a gangbanger. He can escape this one with good lawyers that he can afford. Completely trashed his career though. Wouldn't surprise me if NE cuts him and nobody picks him up. His $2.8m on his contract is guaranteed though so they would have to pay him that regardless.

Right now they only have him on obstruction. That carries federal time? not as familiar with US law as I am Canada. Regardless, his money, fame, past charity, all that can come into play to work out to a juicy deal to keep him out of a cell for long.

The Police Have Neighbors Camera Footage of Hernandez going into his home with the murder victim just hours before he was murdered. The Shot to the back of the head is a strong indicator of a gang/mob style hit.
