Tu_Holmes reckons he pays thousands for a Cabana so he can have security to keep the douches away and keep his girl safe when he's "out and about" (not sure mingling or peeing tbh).

I can't recall ever being in a club so Trashy that you need to have your own security and I've been to the largest club on the planet that regularly packs in 6000 people on a Monday night. At that place, there were very few douches, most people were really friendly and there sure as shit was no need for a lot of security.

As I say, that's not posh or special - it sounds more like Compton.

As for the displays of small amounts of wealth - these things are relative. People like to be one up on their peers and usually stretch themselves to do so. This is especially true with new money 'cause new money tends to be low class.

The one in Singapore is flat as a pancake. The staff act like they are working at the Marriot which really goes against what Hard Rock Hotels are all about. Mind you, the casino's in Singapore are the same too. It's like being in a library.

The Hard Rock Hotels in Pattaya (yes, I know it's a shitty town) and Bali are fun. The staff are fun. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. It's loud till late. Not Vegas style by the sound of it. More family oriented. Good hotels though.
