Very first m&f article i read had was the 20 best workouts for a complete back or some similar title. No featured pro but had 3-4 pages of back training exercises with breakdown on how to do them properly. I didnt own that mag so i photocopied the workouts since i was just starting out lifting.

First magazine I ever saw (and purchased) was this one with Boyer Coe and his wife

I can't remember the last magazine I purchased but it was probably the early 90's.

I loved muscle and fitness, very informative in comparison to the other mags.

I also like the MuscleMag of 90's, they were the shit.

dont remember which was absolutely first, but two come to mind...

a flex wheeler article, might have been a general training aone or just back, what i remember is him talking about using more than 'granny wieght' and at least 10 reps a set, and starting to do more movements underhand because 'thats how the king (dorian) does em'

it was that or a mike francois triceps article, again the only thing i remember was how said how adding one hand overhead extensions had help bring up his triceps.

I had just joined the RAF and was getting into weight lifting. This is the magazine I bought, it had Robbie Robinson training while wearing a wooly hat I think. :D
