Dorian Yates vs. Jay Cutler - At their best, who wins?

Lol, really Delta. Come on man. Ronnie was twice Yates size. In 2003, he was the biggest, most ripped bodybuilder to ever grace the stage. His arms were the size of Dorian's thighs for crying out loud. Dorians twigs were no match. Dorian had a great back, wide unshapely waist, average thighs compared to all time greats, and horrible arms. His conditioning was sick, but Dorian flowed like an Escher painting gone wrong. I know ND sucks DY's manhood daily, but for pure muscularity Ronnie kills him. In fact, Cutler is bigger. His shape may suck but Cutler has better wheels and arms. Dorian has him on back. Both of their waists suck.

Ronnie in his later years would have smoked Dorian. Using your own logic, Haney beat Dorian so he was better. Yet you claim he retired because he was scared of Yates. First, Haney would have beaten Yates in 1992 for number 9. Second, Yates decided to go on the mega juice in 1993 to come in 10-15 pounds heavier. Obviously, his build was chemically dependent just looking at recent pics of him. He was an A+ anabolic, GH, and insulin responder and was more disciplined than his competition. Can you honestly say that if say Dennis Newman never got ill with leukemia, maintained his lines, and took the shit Dorian took he would not be in the discussion for best of all-time. DY was average genetically with mutant parts. He did not flow like others. Deal with it. Great but not the best by any stretch of the imagination.

It depends on what version of Dorian and what version of Ronnie you choose. If you said 2004 Ronnie (weighed 296) and 1993 Yates 257 then of course Yates was more aesthetic. Now if you take them at their best, Ronnie in 1998 and Yates in 1993, then Ronnie wins all day long.

I think that if Yates and Haney were both on the same amount of drugs... I think Haney would win 9 times out of 10.

I think that results from 1991 would have been repeated year after year. But if Haney screwed up his conditioning, Yates would win. Otherwise, Haney would've won over and over.


By 1993, Yates upped his drug usage so high that I feel that he did not care his health (Haney could have done that too and he would've stayed ahead of Yates)

I know this is blasphemy around here but who was better in their prime. Dorian (1993) or Jay (2009). It's not as easy as you think.  Dorian 5'10.5 257lbs, Jay 5'9 255lbs.

Jay has never been 5'9". Met him up close and personal. BTW, he used to be listed at 5'8.5" in Flex and Muscle and Fitness before he made it big.
