They invented living in shitty caves, however you are correct, they didn't invent rooms with 60 inch TV's, leather couches and shrines to the handsome and wonderful Tom Brady..not that I know anything about that.

Looks like 333386 went on a shooting rampage at the whitehouse police chase going on.

Not being called terrorism because non-mozzlem shooting.

Also china further demonised with BS propaganda like this image:

Scores killed by Chinese hornets. Look how unfriendly they are. Even more scary than the "Africanized bees"

I don't know about headhuntersix, but I have a nice tv, two cars (one of which is a high-end pricey German sports car), a house and a nice amount of money split between a bank and the stock market. I have no car loans, no mortgage and my credit card bill (I usually charge gas, groceries and bills to get airline miles) is paid off in full every month.

Many Americans are in debt, but so what? Credit is very cheap right now, and used responsibly, makes sense.

I said "used responsibly" but I guess you can't quite understand English. Let's try something else that's more your cup of tea:

Alif. Lal. Mim.
When used responsibly,
Credit is good.

Ahh, it's great to see that the "Alif. Lal. Mim." bit got your attention and got you to answer. If only you'd answered the point in question...

My situation is pretty neat. Granted, I'm much better off the most Americans are for a number of reasons, but the point is that with the exception of my credit card (currently, it's at $79.30 and I think there's another $48 or so about to hit because I got gas earlier) which I could pay off with the spare change around my house, I'm debt free and have a house I own free and clear, and two cars which I also own free and clear. Even if I had nothing in savings and no investments, I'd still be pretty good.

So tell me again... why am I in a "shit situation"?

Also, even if the U.S. Government is heavily in debt - and nobody argues that it is not - remind me what is that a problem right now? It is still able to get credit extended to it at remarkably low rates. It's a problem, no doubt, and one we ought to address. But you're making a mountain out of a (sizable) molehill.

And again, tell me how this debt affects me personally? With the exception of potentially having to pay more in taxes (a situation which I can adjust to, since I can easily leave my current job and reduce my income dramatically without affecting my lifestyle) the situation affects me very little in my life.

You think I worry that the Federal Government is shut down? I do not. I believe the Federal Government is several orders of magnitude larger than it ought to be, and if it weren't costing quite a lot even while "shut down", I'd advocate to keep it shut down - and I'd advocate quite fiercely.

Is your other one the Tesla?  I remember you talking about it but don't remember if you own one.  Anyway, I finally saw one on display at Tyson's Corner and I just wasn't impressed.  I would have thought luxury car buyers would be more attracted to well...luxury, lol.

Tesla's luxury just seemed lacking for some reason.

No - just a vanilla middle-sized sedan. I am seriously considering getting a Tesla if/when I sell my Audi. I hope that by the time I'm ready to buy a new car, it's native range will have improved by another 50 miles, and the SuperCharger network will be more widely deployed.

I'm curious, what exactly did you not find luxurious, or what do you define as luxury? I mean, it's not meant to compete with, say, a Maybach or somesuch, but it's still a very well appointed car in the large executive sedan category. It's nicely designed but doesn't scream "here I am bitches!" - it's elegant but understated, which I personally like.

lol what is there to envy? 17 trillion dollars of debt? I don't think so.

You are so blind of all you're doing to the whole world and God sends you signs, and you are so arrogant and you keep head banging walls with more arrogance. Proud of your killing, proud of your evil, proud of the destruction you spend on the earth. Well it won't last forever.

You destroy whole nations and kill millions over the world. God sends you hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, astronomical storms while your media reports it 'like a warzone' imagine the warzones you create and the calamities you send from skies above with your weapons on other people.

You spend billions and trillions on wars, destroying and impoverishing other nations. You sink deeper and deeper into debt. You don't stop. Your citizens go bankrupt, your businesses go bankrupt, your housing market goes bankrupt, your cities go bankrupt (Detroit hello), your government goes bankrupt, you can't even provide healthcare for your citizens but you can send money to israel and other nations to do your dirty work, you spend billions on weapons and wars.

No one will destroy America as you are becoming totally irrelavent, just a greedy bully. You will be the destroyer of your own self.

No one in your country owns SHIT, you only own debt and credit. A big illusion. Deception. Deceiving the whole world, when in fact you are the poorest nation on earth only deceived by material objects around you that will go to waste just like your country.

Have fun with your iphone 5asses while you can't get food.

Why do you hate China so much? I got nothing I give a damn about them either, but you hate them because they are prospering while you're not. When was the last time China launched wars upon wars? Look at yourself, every year you are in a war.

No one in America owns shit?   The total assets owned by Americans and American businesses is about $50 trillion.

I believe that's more than all Islamic countries combined, although since they don't publish accurate numbers, that's based on estimates.

Look, we know you hate America.  And you think Islam is the cat's meow.  But we also know that when you try to cite facts and figures, you don't know shit from shinola.

Had to look up Maybach...holy shit, lol.  That'll never be in my pay grade.

I was thinking more in line with a Lexus.

For some reason, the interior just appears cheaper in the Tesla.  Maybe it's the design.

I wouldn't buy a Maybach even if I could afford one anyways. I prefer more... shall we say nimble cars? It feels like a penthouse on wheels.

I quickly tried to find a similar angle shot, but couldn't. I think that it just "looks" different; consider this picture instead:

I "blame" the electronic dash, which does away with many of the switches, the knobs, the buttons and whatnot, and consolidates them into a single screen, and the less "padded" look in the seats and dash in the Model S. So I think it's all about design - Tesla is going for a different look. I guess that I would say I find the Lexus picture more "plush" but I don't know that in reality that would bear out.

Lastly, I think that some of the "hard" requirements that Elon Musk had for the Model S (including the silly requirement of being able to carry seven people, hence the option for the rear-facing jump seats) caused the designers to have to make some compromises.

Dude...u people smell so either u don't wash or u don't know how to wash. Where are u from. I've been to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq, Qater and Jordan. Most of those places are revolting. I've traveled extensively in Central and South America, the people there are just as poor and don't stink half as bad. I think u idots got to about the 13th century and called it quits.

Ummmm... I don't really want to partake of this ridiculous, pointless argument,
...but I thought I'd add just a little teensy weensy bit of clarity and just a few facts.

Yes, ...Muslims smell, ...but so too do North Americans, Asians & Europeans.
It has nothing to do with how many times one washes themself. It comes down to diet, foods, & spices.

Some smells we are used to... others we are not used to. Italians & Chinese often reek of garlic because they use a lot of it in their cooking. Indians & Pakistanis often reek of curry because they consume so much of it in their diet. North Americans... OY! North Americans smell the absolute WORST!!! North Americans smell like a cross between filthy wet dogs, and a 2000 head cattle farm. When it comes to smell, North Americans, and some Europeans are the absolute foulest smelling creatures on the planet. It's all the meat we consume, which doesn't get properly digested, and often times sits & ferments, and rots in our intestines for years. That pungent aroma seeps out through the pores. Add a little sauerkraut and oh lordy!  It's truly disgusting, ...but we are used to it, so we don't notice it. Plop a North American or European in the middle of Mumbai, Hong Kong or Karachi, ...and they will smell you coming from a mile away.

OK, with that said... carry on.

I've tried to live a life of no regrets, ...but I will say this:

I truly regret the fact that I do not have the ability to be a fly on the wall to be able to see the look on your face, when the derivatives bubble pops... the stock market crashes... and the FRN plummets to it's true value. THAT I know I will regret.

If the stock market crashes as hard as you say, gold isn't really going to save me anyways – and even if it would, the gold wouldn't help me much in a totally collapsed economy. What would the gold buy me in that economy and from whom?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Gold can be useful as a hedge to buffer inflation. It's not a panacea and if the shit hits the fan it will be less useful than salt and pork bellies.

The decision was made due to the "difficulty in moving forward with foreign travel in the face of a shutdown", the White House said.

Where does it say Obama can't afford to pay for his flight?
