I'm not sure how old, but Don Youngblood didn't start training until he was mid thirties or early fourties.

Totally depends on how long you been lifting or if you start PED's after 40. If you been lifting for 20 yrs then you prob maxed out leg growth but if you start in your mid-late thirties this will prob not be the case.

Very inaccurate.
Depends on the gear you use and the intensity of your workouts. Your genetic make-up is key too.

Thing here is 99.9% of the people dave has dealt with personally have pretty much never trained without drugs and were already on them for 10-25 years before the age of 40 including himself and already tapped out.

2 things that annoy me, people who have never used AAS(including those who have done 1 8-12 week cycle in their life) giving advice on drugs, and people who have spent 99.9% of their training life on drugs giving drug free people advice.

That's also another reason palumbo is so fucked up with his joints etc, because he was a 120lbs twink marathon runner who abused the fuck out of juice the day he walked into the gym and was basically putting 285lbs on a frame meant to hold 120lbs of twink.

Look at some of those pics of him when he was sick and off the juice, especially his stick legs in that one wheelchair pick. Guy basically had the frame of zane trying to hold the size of marcus ruhl

He's correct. Nerve function in the legs declines faster in the lower body.

Someone whose name is the foundation of the condition recognized as "Palumboism" should know from own experience that it is not just age.

He's correct. Nerve function in the legs declines faster in the lower body.

While nerve loss may be greater in the lower extremities in CNS or PNS pathological states-- like peripheral neuropathy or myelopathy (spinal cord involvement ), because longer axons are more vulnerable to various types of pathology (eg. As in blood glucose changes in diabetes):

In normal healthy folks this is not the case. The likelihood that any 40 year old healthy BBer has nerve loss in the legs as a reason for poor muscle growth is bogus, unless there is some disease causing axonal loss.
Age has no effect on axonal loss in peripheral nerve except maybe when you hit 80-90 years.

Can you imagine the gear he was running to hit a lean 320 lbs?

Dead wrong. What about those who started training at 35, 40, 45, 50? Think their legs didn't grow? My thing after trying what Palumbo advocates is to take it and do the exact opposite.

I didn't say nerve loss as I don't believe there is such a thing as "loss" and bbers are not normal. Yes in a "normal" adult you will not see shrinkage as such as you will see on bbers. You will not notice this so much on bbers who really are not know for their leg mass but more on the freaks and it usually starts to happen around age 40. It doesn't mean you are diseased or at least in the way you speak of unless you want to call aging a disease as some do. Bottom line is nerve "function" declines more so in the lower body  than the upper body.

It can be done, you just have to eat a lot of calories and train with high reps.

Not wrong at all. Sure someone who is 40 can grow bigger thighs if he starts lifting at that age, but someone who started at age 20 would have much bigger thighs to begin with. We need to compare apples to apples. What you are stating is correct but not what is being discussed here.

Dexter is over 40 and still has great legs minus calves but he's rare in general, to stay competitive this long is an anamoly these days esp at the high level
