On a serious note its too hard to say and too many factors to consider. Shakesphere is overrated nonsense. Takes a simple sentence and makes it complicated. Its just for snobs to pretend they like him to appear intelligent and better.

One of THE stupidest things I have ever read on this forum. Easily.

The rhetoric of today compared to the rhetoric of the 1500's can not be compared. If Shakespeare read the literature of our time, it would be complicated to him.

Reading Shakespeare is something that has to be learned.

I knew somebody would get upset.

I "learned it" in high school. Plenty of better writers out there capable of telling better stories. Agreed, the style of language can't be compared but plenty of people like that style because it makes them appear intellectual.
