bob looked good til he turned pro. he won the Canadians after I had done them the first time and I remember thinking he didn't look much If any better than me. one problem was I never did the nationals two years in a row, so the judges were never looking for me.
Therein lies a big problem in my opinion.
If you look great,place to 3-5 in a National contest,then compete again 2-3 years later looking even better,but place 5th. or fail to place and wonder why,the key is to compete every single year until you win.
Not fair at all,but it does seem to work out that way......unfortunately.
It shouldn`t be a popularity contests,it should be the best physique wins on contest day.
