Just found out the Savage race is only a little over 5 miles and 25 obstacles... thought it would be between 6-8 miles.


I'll be up in Southwick Ma the end of Sept for the Rugged Maniac...that one looks really cool...3 miles and 25 obstacles.
that's gonna be non stop obstacles!


Not sure - I would think the obstacles get jammed up, so it could be slow.  Rugged Maniac guys were on Shark Tank.

Eh, I'll just do what I do for the Warrior Dash, just make sure I'm at the front of the line when my heat starts.

I hate cardio indoors. No machine can give your body the natural training effects of running cross country. I train in the Gym too but i know 100% that i get a better workout outside. The cold and wet weather hardens you.

There's a park in my town that has all kinds of trails through the woods, over rock walls, tree branches, and up and down some hills. it's a great run.

I love running in the woods here. I see the odd person with dogs but itīs quite. Yeah Grape likes his hard training too as you know. Good stuff.

Same here some dogs and people but everyone is nice and will move to the side if you're running by.

Still inside but getting out this week....down to 204lbs from somewhere near 220lb at New Years.

I just got back my inversion table that I had lent a friend...that should help with aches and pain.

Yes.

I'm glad I got away with what I did.  Was supposed to ramp up 1/4 at a time on treadmill until it was pain free, then run outside.   Going straight to 5 miles on the road was probably dumb, but I got impatient.
