Nope and nope. I am actually going to try and extend my maintenance a bit with a bout of reverse dieting. I find for me, if I create a workable deficit from my maintenance, then increase calories, I can increase my metabolic rate by a few hundred calories. If I started at 2800, homeostasis would kick in much faster and increasing calories would not have as greater effect as if I started lower.
I also do not mind eating and cooking less at the moment for a variety reasons, including that I cook all of one of my dog`s meals who is not feeling well at the moment. I actually enjoy spending a bit less time in the kitchen right now for myself. I feel like I live there sometimes!
