absolutley the 1 thing that is for sure BOTH Sergio and Arnold would be bigger-heavier-and their conditioning would be up too the current eras standard, how that would translate into actual contest placing is anyone’s guess both a 1972 sergio and a 1974 Arnold were both @ least 10 years or more ahead of their Time.

There were maybe 100 people who took drugs and took bodybuilding seriously in the 70s. Arnold just happened to be hungrier than the others. The rest of the population didn't.

Quite possibly so

The same can be said for many other sports & pastimes in those days
The winners & champions were still the best amongst their peers
its no their fault there was not much competion.

Though with Arnold / Sergio even to this day there are not many who can compare.

Agreed. There is no one close to Arnold and even Sergio's son, whose physique is eerily reminiscent, is not his equal. The apple may not fall far from the tree, but it still grows in the shadow of its parent.
