Totally agree.  How/why this kid got hired for that part, I'll never know.

Hayden Christensen was an annoying whinny twit, especially in the second movie.

Both of them could not act.  That did not seem to matter to Lucas though.
Biggest hack in hollywood.

Imagine if bruce cambell won an oscar.

There's a theory going around the Twitter-verse that JJ Abrams put elements of that trailer in to get audiences to hate it so he could convince his Disney masters to kill it. The roller-droid being a prime example.

Kill it?  Principle photography has to be more than 50% completed by now.  The original cast members were scheduled to spend 6 months in Europe (England mostly) shooting it.  Even if it sucks, they will not kill it... too much money and time already spent.

Yes, but final edits aren't done.

The amount of money Disney paid for the rights to franchise out the SW brand, they're not killing anything.

There are billions in tie in deals on everything from happy meals to dog socks that require a fairly recent movie as a central marketing tool

I still liked parts of those movies.  I thought the Darth Maul scenes in 1 were pretty epic, enjoyed McGreggor's Obi Wan, and I did like episode 3.

What I HATED in Episode 1was Anakin destroying the ship.  If he's who he is, he should have done it with more purpose and less accidental shit.

The logic that Disney came up with is, the core characters don't die unlike the Clone Wars.  ::)

You won't be seeing this type of grit in Rebels.

i only watched the original trilogy as a kid, haven't revisited but enjoyed them at the time. The prequel trilogy looked absolute shit, everytime i caught a bit on tv or whatever i couldn't get past the terrible cgi. This new trailer is no different, cgi is awful. Atleast the miniatures in the originals looked real because they were actually there. I don't know why they can't combine the two today for a much more authentic look. Most of that trailer looked fake as hell, really there is nothing exciting in that teaser and people are wetting their pants.

Lol how is there a chocolate face trooper. They were all cloned so they should look like boba fet  ???

The Clone troopers were clones, the storm troopers were not.  You even see some with their helmets off in ESB I beleive.

Apparently there's been a lot of hate over the black trooper and lots of racist remarks, lol.  Fucking Disney and their PC bullshit.

The original trilogy still kicks asses today, when something is that well made, it would stand the test of time... The atmosphere, characters and music are still awesome... As always, completely agree about the rest, miniatures destroys CGI, period...

Despite Lucas getting all the glory, the true genius behind them being so great was Irvin Kershner

J.J. Abrams is a talentless douche.
Agree. Never seen a movie of his that was remotely good. Star Treks were awful. A group of awful actors with awful lines. Completely predictable. Pretty much the prototypical "average" director for today (which means not very good).

What do people expect though?  They aren't making anything original or new.  They are using the name STAR WARS to bank off its previous success.

Probably exactly what it is.  Just how Han Solo wore it.

No, in Disney's version, Savage Opress wouldn't have died, or even fatally injured. He'd just have a hard fall.
