The straight bar is superior for bicep mass.

I like both but the EZ Bar is kinder like a few have wrote. Funny thing is though, with french press i like a straight Bar better  :-\  same with pressdowns i like the straight bar attachment.

Agree but IMO straight should be more of a staple

I've been fighting a rotator shoulder issue which had some secondary affects of elbow and biceps pain. The EZ bar let me train through it. I am not 100% yet, but I hope to return to straight bar someday. For now, it still causes discomfort.

Plus, I have a decent peak already, need more mass...

Fat arm I am sure the fat women love it.

Epic bro science. The peak contraction with a straight bar might be slightly better, until you get serious problems with your wrists.

Apart from this; I'm a strong believer in unilateral arm work with dumbbells, sometimes combined with resistance bands for constant tension.

Not bro science it's what's worked for me over the years...
For me this is the "squats of biceps" bothered  my wrists in the beginning as a beginner. Nearly 10 yrs later close very close to 20 cold ... And 20inches pumped... Natural .... No bro science , brother just trial and error.

Also I never once said it was the only movement  for biceps , for the most part now I use Dumbells , prone dumbel curls , spider curls over the opposite side of the preacher etc.
So no not bro science....

The way you describe it is exactly what bro science is all about (trial and error & sharing those experiences), not that this is a bad thing(!)
It's the genetics, hard work & good nutrition that brought you those guns, not that 'magic' straight bar.

No my statement is
If all the bicep excercises straight bar curls give the most mass well for me...
So I recommend it above ez bar curls

With all respect, but that's just your personal belief (where bro science starts...).
You would achieve the same results with an EZ, DBs, cable or machine, as long as it's with the same intensity.

As I explained before the ez bar when I do it hits the outer head of the biceps... For me , where's as the straight hits that and the in we head.  So no I could not get the exact same result because technically they are both 2 different excercises , and yes it's my opinion I don't speak for you bobby sue or mike. I'm speaking for myself here , I know what works how on MY physique and based in that I make recommendation. So going by your theory all opinions on exercise is bro science.. Wrong

i agree 100%,wrist is in much better position for the bicep to fully contract.all the greats known for their bi,s like scott, arnold, grant, colbert always say the straight bar is the best for biceps
After years of using a straight bar I switched to an EZ Curl. It would pump and burnout my forearms before my biceps, especially on preacher curls. To get the full effect on the biceps I have to use an EZ Curl on preachers which have always been my favorite bicep exercise.
