Several holes I see as an Aussie.

"Kiama" is indeed a town, I have been there dozens of times, but it is on the coast and far south of any real "rainforest" as such.

Australians never use the words "pickup truck" to describe any vehicle. Such vehicles are called "utilities" or more commonly just "utes" and back in 1975 a bunch of Aussie shrinks definitely would not have owned or driven them since they were way less common and used strictly by tradesmen.

Dobermans seem like a strange dog breed for Australia back then too. Especially in a place like Kiama which is farming country.

Nice observation, and that name can actually play a bigger role than just being a "coincidence". People are sooo easily influenced by certain types of stimuli, and having a name like that might very well have played a part for this guy to become a pedophile.

You should look into the unreliability of witness evidence. It is terrible. Even identity parades right after an incident. Next time you go to a person's house or a restaurant try to remember what the wallpaper or paint looked like and check when you go back next time. You will be surprised how often you are wrong on an obvious detail like that. Add in biases and there is so much distortion.

The story is more ridiculous the more you read it.

She is inside this pedo ring from age 3, assuming she still lives with her family the whole time, then at age 6 she is thrown a birthday party in the forest by a bunch of men without her family present?

If the ring is sydney based then why is she taken 4 hours south of sydney?

Why do grown men need to drug a six year old AFTER they already have her in the forest? Makes sense to drug her to get her out of where she lives or away from her parents but once she is where the crime will take place it makes no sense. She is six also, too small to need drugging by adults who can restraint her easily.

The Pedos have all these kids in the forest and instead of screwing them they decide to hunt and kill them? Wouldn't they do everything possible to keep them alive so they could swap them around and abuse them as long as possible?

Agreed...Also it's pretty common knowledge that Kidman's and Cruise's marriage was a dog and pony show as Kidman was Tom's "beard"...Travolta and Tom both have that in common with paid beards. It takes a special kind of upbringing to sell out to a homosexual man and play the part of beard for that long.
