Seriously, the guy has an injured knee and is at 90% disability.

FFS If he had twisted his ankle as well would he have got 100%?

My 90 comes from a lot of things... My knee, depression issues, my sholders, both knees. Back. Basicly anything I ever went to the doc about in 10 years they look at, there was a lot of physical labor on the boat. So any time I tweeked somthing I went to get been aspirin it was documented.. They do a physical on you based on those things and rate it..

You guys are going to love this but sleep apnea gets you 50%.  That's about 450 a month I think.

I couldn't walk for sometime, it's never really gotten better. The doc said it's somthing I'm going to have to live with and find what level of pain I can deal with since I have to live with it. If that means trying to work legs and my knee swells up and I can live with it then try to find the best way to cause the least amount of pain. I'm not going to just give up

26 years old, a minor knee injury and yet you have a "laundry list" of "ailments", despite never really doing anything physical while in the military.  90 percent disabled and competes in Bodybuilding shows back to back. LOLOL

I will give you the benefit of the doubt, perhaps the majority of 90 percent is a brain problem.  Lets hope at least.

Nobody here has ever met Mike, all we have to go off of are a few pictures....and yet, the geniuses here seem to think they can assess his health better than his doctor.  Oh brother ::)

Navy_Mike, hats off to you man.  Good luck with the transition....get a good, marketable education, and enjoy the rest of your life.

Yeah. My son-in-law barely talks about his experiences while deployed. Little bits and pieces come out, but it is clearly hard for him to talk about it. Of course it might help if he could.

His SSD court date is tomorrow. I hope it goes well for him. He also suffers short term memory loss. Thing is, you would never guess that he has such an array of disabilities if you met him. He's really a great guy. He is very easy going and he's an amazing husband and father too.
what, he realized we re only stupid animals killing each others in an absurd world, and that he only survived because of pure luck and not because of "god's will" ?

I`m glad that at least you finally get it.  Think of all that time you wasted with your former religious ranting and ravings.  I think you owe me an apology at the very least.  I never hesitated at the opportunity to chastise your religious bullshit.  I am glad you have finally seen the light of reason.

Something about my va rating has struck a nerve. There is nothing that I can say to please him..

It's not like he can say he would do the same. He hasn't served. If he did then turned down all the benefits then he would have a foot to stand on based on his moral I guess.. But the fact is he hasn't and can't say what he would do in my situation because he's not...
