Read the fucking article. She was a lot healthier obese than what she is now thanks to these idiot producers.
I have and just read it again, where exactly does it say she was healthier obese?
I understand that's what the article is insinuating based on her health problems she experienced while/since doing the show, but they never disclose her health prior to being accepted, other then her height and weight (she says, among several issues, her thyroid is messed up now because of the weight loss but it probably already was not functioning properly not doubt playing a roll with her obesity).
The article states the amount of money they make off the show from their products and supplements, which we at getbig know those products are a scam.
The article also states that people generally gain back half the weight they originally lost on most life style changes.
Im not condoning the methods used. They are drastic and dangerous.
But I'm not surprised in the least bit that a television show, made for profit and entertainment purposes, is using these tactics.
What is the issue here, that a TV game show is using dangerous weight loss practices to exploit contestants for the networks profit?
This is a surprise to most?
Or am I missing something?
