Okay, bent over bb rows, But how is Jay doing them differently? i can only see one way to do em.
Bro, BB rows are where you grab a bar in the same manner as if you were doing shrugs. You bend over at a 45-90 degree angle depending on what angle suites you best for form and the best contraction. You then lower the bar and pull it up into your abdomen and repeat.
T-bar rows are where the bar is between your legs, perpendicular to your body. It is usually done with a close grip, but if you have the right attachment it can be done with a wider grip. Some guys will even do these one arm at a time, somewhat similar to DB rows. The way this lift works the back is similar to BB rows, but the angle and form of this lift is does affect it in its own unique way. Look at it like this, for every body part there are numerous lifts you can do for it, but each one is unique and has its own exact function. Think about it, both flat and incline bench work the chest, but each hit it in its own way.
