The only side effect I've ever experienced was wanting to kill "brutes".

Yeah in one 3 week study in 2009 in South Africa of 20 rugby players loading with 25g a day for a week. No follow up study after this groundbreaking discovery....

25g/day!? I think what they proved is that explosive diarrhea causes baldness.

That's why you have to spend the extra buck for the more refined brand. The cheap stuff made me feel so sick and bloated.

You only need about 2 - 1/2 teaspoons per day for max results.  Higher recommended amounts is just marketing BS to get you to buy/use more creatine.

"Creatine loading"  ::)  ???

Haha yes, don't forget the "loading phase" oh brother

I took it for years too. My kidney tests started coming back bad. Doc told me to stop taking it and the numbers improved. Some will say that creatine changes into  creatinine that is used to measure kidney function and nothing to be alarmed about. It did alarm me so I stopped. If the kidneys are involved in filtering out creatine I didn't want the extra load on my kidneys. Creatine also made me retain water.  It is the only supplement I ever used that worked though.  The part that bothers me is that so many say it does nothing for them. The first time I took it my muscles got tighter and the pump was increased. No doubt I got stronger using it. It's just not worth the risk too me now. Use only German creapure brand. The stuff sold under so many brands is sourced from Chinese crap that you have to worry about impurities and even the creatine content.

So taking Roids to improve performance is bad but taking Creatine is ok? and you got side effects from Creatine but attack those who take roids? Fucking dickhead

Steve Reeves only took creatine which he washed down with one arm pull-ups.

i took some for three years alomst a decade ago, non stop and started having porblems when urinating, pain, creatinine or something, felt like small stones in the uretrha....horrible sensation, was scared to go pee, read some stuff about it on the internet and stopped taking it and the pain stopped too after two weeks to my relief. It definitely causes troubles to your kidneys over time. For me, it took three years to start having side effects.
 it  obviously gives you more strenght and lots of water retention. Weeks after you stopped , once all the  extra creatine gets off your body you start pissing away all the water and you get smaller. The muscles built by the increase in strenght and stamina stay tho. But you cant train as hard as you did when off so it also eventually decrease after some time.

there was a 3 or 5 year long term study showing it's safe, should be fine for almost everyone who uses it.

For an ecto like me, it's very appreciated.
